The food news to know this season

Discover our roundup of the latest food news from Westfield Stratford City.

PAN-N-ICE

If you’re looking to jazz up your regular gelato and sprinkles combo, then look no further than Pan-n-Ice. The ice roll parlour recently landed at Westfield Stratford City and the team have been busy creating their unique signature rolls ever since. The best part is watching the rolls come to life as they create each order from scratch using their incredible ice rolling machines. The result? Beautiful-looking, melt-in-the-mouth ice cream rolls that are full of flavour yet taste lighter than your regular scoop. Choose from 27 flavours including Reese’s, Biscoff and choc chip cookie dough. There’s also a separate vegan menu, and the saintly-yet-sinful acai bowls, made from acai berry sorbet and topped with fruit and granola – the perfect pick-me-up, plus a tasty way to hit your five-a-day.

Bubblewrap

Build your own cone at Bubblewrap

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, indulgent and totally unique head to Bubblewrap. This global sensation has recently opened on the centre’s ground floor and their desserts will blow your mind (not to mention your taste buds). Bubblewrap specialises in Hong Kong-inspired sweet waffles in a unique bubble shape, folded into a cone and filled with home-made gelato and delicious toppings such as fruit, sweets and sauce. Each dessert is made to order, so you can stick to the menu or go as wild as you dare. Our favourite is the decadent Oreo Crunch which is filled with strawberry cheesecake gelato and Oreo biscuits, finished with a generous drizzle of salted caramel. As well as tasting delicious, each one looks like a work of art so be sure to snap your Insta pics before you get stuck in.

Having a ball

Match day at Bat & Ball

There’s no such thing as a quiet night at Bat & Ball. Whether it’s an action-packed game of table tennis with workmates or a sing-off in their plush new 16-seater karaoke room, there’s always fun to be had. Having recently nabbed an impressive new two-storey location, there’s now even more on offer including live screenings of the biggest sporting events, and DJs from 8pm on both Fridays and Saturdays. Whatever you choose, it’s sure to be a hit.
